This weekend we were excited to be involved in Manchester Print Fair, an excellent bi-annual event that gathers printmakers of all sorts and celebrates their work. With over 60 printmakers behind stalls and 1500+ visitors over the weekend, Manchester Print Fair is proving to get better every year.
This year we were asked by GF Smith to provide a workshop alongside Hot Bed Press in which we encouraged visitors to try their hand at screen printing. So far this was the largest event we’ve live printed at and it was so much fun showing people how we make our prints, as well as answering their questions about the screen printing process. The design Scott prepared for the event was awesome too and I have no doubt there were plenty of people who were stoked to take the finished print home with them.
We also got the chance to meet so many talented printmakers this weekend and admire their creations. From minimalism to pure madness, the range of prints on sale was amazing and we bagged ourselves more than a few new items for our walls.
Keep an eye out on our blog as we’re working on a full list of stallholders which we’ll post soon.
